Should TOCs fight for customer relationships?

The likes of Google and Apple are set to move in with automatic journey planning tools that would wrest control of the passenger relationship from train companies, says Abellio Rail Business Development Director Mike Kean. He suggests that within five years many customers will decide it is more attractive to view third parties - and not operators - as their principal source of ticketing information. - MW
