Editor-in-Chief David Briginshaw highlights the big changes on the horizon for major rail suppliers, many of which operate in the UK. Knorr-Bremse and Wabtec are both widening their portfolios, while the big train builders are all fighting for growth. Vossloh is restructuring and CAF has significantly increased its share of the market. Rumours of Bombardier Transportation’s sale would shore up its lossmaking aerospace division.
