“As an industry we need to keep showing how we can deliver growth for our customers, and how, with the right support, we can do even more to support the UK economy,” says RFG Executive Director Maggie Simpson. She says that, while the last few years have been challenging for the freight industry, there are reasons to be optimistic – significant increases in both construction and intermodal traffic for example, which have grown 7% and 6% respectively year-on-year.
