London’s transport commissioner Mike Brown told an audience at the Global Public Transport Summit in Montreal that the introduction of Night Tube services on London Underground’s Central, Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines had boosted economic activity ‘well ahead’ of expectations. He revealed that every pound spent on Night Tube was returning economic benefits in the region of £2.70.
