“The UK needs to carve out a new role in the world and logistics has a huge part to play in the forthcoming negotiations,” says FTA Chief Executive David Wells. He says that opinion was divided at the association’s recent debate on Brexit, between those who embraced the undoubted opportunities it offers and those who saw only the many challenges that lie ahead. He urges all members of the FTA to discuss and debate the issues to allow the organisation to influence Government in the right way.
