Alan Johnson, Labour MP for Hull West & Hessle leads Labour's campaign for Britain to stay in Europe, ahead of the June 23 vote. Johnson states: "The European Union is a market of 500 million people. That's whether countries around the world are so keen to do business with is. When it comes to negotiating with other big blocs, like China and the US, we are far stronger as part of a powerful group of 28 nations than we would be on our own. The EU amplifies our voice on the world stage."
