General Manager appointed by DDRF

Neil Harvey has been confirmed in the role of General Manager of The Derby & Derbyshire Rail Forum (DDRF) for at least the next year. The appointment has been supported by D2N2, the Local Enterprise Partnership, and is with immediate effect.

The role is for an initial period of one year and has an increased scope and remit including growing membership, building and strengthening the already activities of DDRF, contributing to and implementing the wide-ranging strategy set by the DDRF Executive Committee and working closely with D2N2 and especially its Transport Equipment Manufacturing Group and Skills Sector Group.

Harvey said: “I am delighted to be appointed to the role that I took up on an interim basis in July of this year. I am looking forward to the challenges set for me by the DDRF Executive and D2N2 and building on the standing and reputation of the DDRF going forward.”
