We’re delighted that Systra is one of our gold sponsors for this year's National Rail Conference, which will take place on June 15 in Birmingham.
Systra is a world leader in transport infrastructure engineering. It has more than 6,000 employees worldwide specialising in conventional rail, high-speed rail, metro, mass rapid transit, light-rail, tram-train, automated guideway and bus rapid transit.
Systra has developed projects in more than 150 countries and 350 cities.
The company offers the full range of multi-disciplinary technical services for the transport sector. It designs and manages transport projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from the early stages of scheme appraisal and design through to procurement, construction, operation and maintenance.
Systra Chief Operating Officer Andrew McNaughton (pictured) will take to the NRC stage to talk about what the UK can expect from high speed, given the company’s experiences of high-speed rail abroad.
McNaughton has been COO since June 2016. He was previously director of engineering and construction for Tidal Lagoon Swansea Bay. He has 30 years’ experience of delivering major infrastructure in the UK and overseas.
