Serco appoints MD for new Caledonian Sleeper franchise

Serco has appointed Peter Strachan as managing director of the new Caledonian Sleeper that begins in April 2015.

Strachan joins from Serco’s business in Australia, where he led and supported two key rail bids in Sydney.

He was previously managing director of Arriva Trains Wales and was Route Director for Network Rail London North Western.
