Roof repairs at Boxhill station

Boxhill & Westhumble station, on the Horsham-Leatherhead line, is to receive £1 million worth of repairs to its canopy roof and footbridge.

The Grade 2-listed station, operated by Southern, has undergone several name changes over the years, with the present one since 2006 following a local survey. It is a short distance from the National Trust’s woodland landmark Box Hill overlooking the River Mole.
