London Underground is moving closer to having all-night services across its entire network, with the return of Jubilee Line trains planned for Saturday May 21.
Transport for London has also indicated that the Northern and Piccadilly overnight timetable will also be returning during the summer. All were suspended in March 2020 at the beginning of the COVID pandemic, but off-peak travel is recovering faster than other types of journeys, with ridership at 80% of pre-pandemic levels.

Night Tube services will return to the Jubilee line on 21 May, Transport for London (TfL) has announced. Trains will run through the night on Fridays and Saturdays, joining the Central and Victoria lines which resumed night services in November. The return of Night Tube on the Jubilee line, along with the Piccadilly and Northern lines later in the summer, will be a boost to the night-time economy and help the customers travel around London overnight at weekends. The Night Tube was suspended in March 2020 due to the global coronavirus pandemic. TfL said 1.6m people regularly worked at night before the pandemic, almost a third of the city’s workforce.
