The Advisory Panel for the Great British Railways Transition Team (GBRTT) met for the first time on January 19.
Chaired by Keith Williams, co-author of the Williams-Shapps Plan for Rail, the panel has been appointed to help oversee and advise the transition team responsible for creating the new GBR public body.
The panel is intended to support GBRTT as it works to deliver the commitments made in the Government White Paper. It will also work collaboratively with GBRTT’s leadership team to deliver a more sustainable railway that better serves the needs of passengers and freight customers.
