Firms encouraged to ready HS2 bids

West Midlands businesses are being actively encouraged to prepare for £25 billion worth of HS2 contracts that will soon start to flow into the supply chain.

HS2 Ltd’s business engagement team held a trial workshop in Aston to show companies how to prepare tender applications, and to learn from the 349 contractors and small businesses who have already won orders. 

Around 30 local firms took part in the first three-week programme.
