Warning lights will be installed at three level crossings in East Anglia where no warning systems or barriers are in place.
The lights will be fitted at Thetford, Lakenheath and at Hockham Road (Roundham), where a tractor was hit by a train earlier this year. They will show green when the crossing is clear and red when a train is approaching.
The warning systems do not need to be integrated with existing signalling equipment, meaning they can be installed more quickly than other types.

I think it is a good idea despite all level crossings are to close and this could prevent more fatalities from happening.
