    The new units look good, but have they got charging points for phone? An essential these days I would have thought!

      Not on a metro train they aren't; most journey times will never be more than an hour. The inverter equipment and cabling adds too much weight.

        Bedford or Peterborough to the South Coast is significantly more than an hour!

    Nice video of the Class 700 whilst doing tests before its used on passenger service in a weeks time.
