TF releases three smart ticketing reports

Transport Focus (TF) has released three new reports on different aspects of smart ticketing. The first - New types of tickets with smart ticketing - examines the use of carnet tickets offering discounts when passengers buy multiple tickets, and exploring which combination of potential features appeals most.

The second report - Smartcards on c2c - looks in detail at the experiences of passengers and staff on the London Tilbury & Southend route, following the introduction of smart ticketing in 2014.

The final report - Using smartcards on rail in the South East of England - explores what passengers need and want when using smartcards, and their reactions on how a smartcard might work for rail ticketing.
