If it had all gone wrong Network Rail and the thousands of people who made improvements possible over the Christmas period would have been castigated for getting wrong. Because it went right not a word from the press. Well I say three cheers for all those who gave up their Christmas to make it possible. Thanks guys (and girls)

British engineers at their best! Note the skills, when given a workable program, and the people who given the opportunity to use their skills. We do not need the civil servant mentality, where practical skills are required.

London Bridge as it was before was a horrible looking station. Now-London Bridge looks very modern, clean and the platforms have been extended to cater 12-Car trains.
