The House of Commons Public Accounts Committee (PAC) heard evidence on the reform of the rail franchising programme yesterday (December 2), in order to assess the Department for Transport’s response to reports from the PAC and National Audit Office.
DfT Permanent Secretary Philip Rutnam, DfT Managing Director Passenger Services Peter Wilkinson and Rail Executive Director General Bernadette Kelly appeared in front of the committee.
