In Network Rail's latest Public Performance Measure (PPM) results, National Express operator c2c has been named as the most punctual operator in 2014.
Over the whole year, 96.6% of c2c's trains arrived on time, compared with a national average across other operators of 89.6%. In last four weeks of the year, 97.6% of c2c trains arrived on time.
c2c Managing Director Julian Drury said: "We are aiming to build on this record in 2015 by running even more trains on time, as well as delivering other improvements for passengers such as the new c2c Smartcard, discounted tickets and our new c2c Live app."
