The final seven Class 66/7s ordered for GB Railfreight were unloaded at Newport Docks on December 7.
The locomotives, 66766-66772, are the final Class 66s to be delivered to the UK. They complete an order for 21 locomotives placed by GBRf at the start of the year (exclusively revealed in RAIL 741), and means the freight operator now has 71 Class 66s in its fleet.
The final locomotive to be unloaded was 66769. They were built by Electro-Motive Diesel in Muncie, America, and were transported to the UK by ship.
The seven Class 66/7s follow classmates 66752-66756 which were delivered to the UK in July, and 66757-66765 which arrived in September.
