The UK’s largest rail exhibition returns to the Porterbrook-owned Long Marston Rail Innovation Centre on June 18-19.
Last year’s Rail Live was attended by almost 7,000 people, representing a 19% year-on-year increase on the 2023 show, while the number of exhibitors increased by 14% to 308.
This year, exciting features are set to include:
Home of Rail Safety Week & the Rail Safety Conference, hosted by Rail Forum.
The return of the RIA Innovation Lounge.
Engineering Theatre.
Policy & Leadership Theatre.
A new show layout.
High-profile speakers and a jam-packed agenda.
Organisations already booked to appear include HS2 Ltd and Network Rail, while Allelys will have a large rolling stock display at the show. British Transport Police will again be present too.
So far, more than 180 exhibitors have booked, with the final total set to once again exceed 300. They include the likes of track manufacturers, train builders, and plenty of smaller specialist companies.
British Steel has also been announced as this year’s headline partner for sustainability, one of the key focuses of the 2025 show.
Talks and demonstrations will be dedicated to the topic, which will include coverage of climate resilience, alternative energy and sustainable engineering.
British Steel’s Commercial Director, Rail, Craig Harvey said: “As the UK’s only manufacturer of rail, we are delighted to be working in partnership with Rail Live and to be sponsoring this year’s event.
“It promises to be a superb event, and we’re looking forward to showcasing how we’re building a sustainable future for our business, our employees, our customers, and the communities in which we operate.”
Rail Live is also the headline sponsor of Rail Safety Week, which coincides with the event.
Running from June 16 -22, there will be events at Rail Live to highlight the importance of safety in the modern industry.
Rail Live will also continue to offer free shuttle coaches from both Honeybourne and Stratford Parkway stations. There will be a total of five coaches across the two locations, running return trips throughout the day.
Full timetables will be available to view on the website in the run-up to the event, so that you can plan ahead. @RAIL
