More Class 90s are broken up

The latest former DB Cargo Class 90s to be scrapped by Sandbach Dismantlers at Middlewich are 90023 followed by 90032.

Both were disposed of in early August. They followed the scrapping of 90022/027/038 in July, leaving 90017/030/033 still to be broken up, while 90025/031 remain at EMR in Liverpool, pending disposal.

There are still no developments on the sale of DB Cargo’s last 12 remaining Class 90s, all of which were offered for sale in December 2023, and which are in much better (and generally operational) condition.
