Eurotunnel has ten Class 21/9 Krupp MaK Bo-Bo locomotives, numbered 0001-0010 but registered on TOPS as 21901-910 as they are passed to run on High Speed 1. They are used to rescue any stricken train, but also find occasional use on the Plain Line Pattern Recognition trains operated for Network Rail.
This year’s ‘Railway Oscars’ ceremony will take place on September 12, once again at London’s prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane, London.
